You ever heard the phrase . . .

. . . like shoveling snow in the middle of a blizzard.

Well, let me start the phrase out with “maintaining a clean house with a 3 year old is like shoveling snow in the middle of a blizzard.”

Yes, this was my house. Every time we pick up Leggo’s, more come out right after we’re done putting them away. Matchbox cars and train’s, they cannot manage to stay in his room. Instead they make a continuous string from his bedroom to our living room.

Did I mention the extraordinary amount of sand that manages to be in this child’s shoes/pockets/pant legs, etc.

Oy vey. Don’t mind the extraordinary mess on the chairs in the background…that would be G’s crud too. Thank goodness, I regained control of the living room this weekend. It’s better. The “mailman” box of blankets, dirty jamies and what not is laundered and put away. The rest is somewhat under control.

Maybe I should mention that living in 760 square feet doesn’t help. LOL.
