2008 Training Log: Swimming

Okay, so running just isn’t appealing to me right now.  Might be the giant gut I’m growing, who knows.

Anyway, I decided to give swimming a try.  Today I headed down to the gym and jumped in the pool for 35 minutes.  Not a huge workout, but figured it was a good introduction to getting back in the water since I haven’t done any serious swimming since high school.  It really felt GOOD.  I mean, REALLY GOOD.

So, I did about 1000-1200 yards.  I don’t know if that’s good or not.  LOL.  All I do know is that it felt really good and I’m excited to do a lot more swimming.  I think it will be a good way for me to exercise during this pregnancy without putting too much pressure on me.
