About Me

I’m a mom, a wife, an attorney, and this is my blog about my life. This is about my life as a mom. This is about my life as the wife to an ultra-runner, self-employed woodworker, and father. This is about my life as an attorney trying to balance the most important things to me, my family and my sense of self. This is about trying to re-discovery who I am and finding those things that I burn for. This is about my life trying to find balance between my faith, family, career, dreams and desires. Welcome to my life.

Hi Micheline – Couldn’t find an email contact for you, so I’ll just leave a comment here and you can delete it if you want. My wife (the other Micheline) and I are having a joint birthday/10th anniversary party this Saturday, 8/9/08, sevenish. Lots of VERY assorted people stopping by, friends, colleagues, etc – a very diverse group. If you’d like to stop by to say hi, it would be cool to see you and your husband. If you’re interested, email me back at the address attached to this and I’ll give you directions. Take care!

    Micheline,

I love your blog. I came across it a little while ago when googling random info. on the Colo. bar exam. Like you did, I’m working full time and studying for the bar (my second), which is coming up for me in 3 days. Yikes. (Although I don’t have a 3 year old. I figure if you did it with a 3 year old, I really have no excuse!) Anyway, you have been an inspiration to me. Thanks.

I also have a couple random questions for you since I’m also out of state and don’t know other people who have taken it at the Denver facilities. If you receive this and could let me know, I would be so appreciative. Lunch: what do you do about lunch? Is there a sandwich shop or somewhere to purchase? Should I bring something with me? (I won’t have a car at the exam site.) Order of essays and MPT–in each of the essay/MPT sessions, did you do all of the essays then the MPT?

Anything other sage advice you have for another poor soul following in your footsteps would be so appreciated. Thanks and congratulations on your achievement!
